91. Pod people

Picking up the black card, Talo says, “Continue on the same path… Aye?”
Talo looks expectantly to Kradorn for confirmation. On the route Talo casts a healing spell on Kradorn, Cynan, and Gordon in hopes of ensuring they are as near perfect health as possible.

Gildor says,”Oh we might be done on this level. Well how about going up a level? If there is a level up? If no upper level we can go down one level again. I’d say we clear 1/4 of a level left then come back here for rest breaks for safety then go back up and clear 1/4 right and come back again. And alternate until it’s clear. We can do this plan up or down. If no objections let’s go.”

90. The surgeon will see you now

Gildor says, “Let’s get Gordon to the first medicine room we used, as the robot things may know what is going on and might be able to help him. We can move in formation and with some haste but we don’t need to get involved in any scuffles along the way, unless it’s unavoidable, unless Kradorn needs us to do something else first or instead.”

Gildor gets his needler taken care of and tells Saphiria, “Come along Saphiria. Time to move along.”

84. Breaking & Entering

Talo is hovering close to the medical golem watching with rapt attention at all of the alchemy and arcane mysteries as Kalam is being restored when the dwarves come in. As quickly as his stumpy legs will carry him, the cleric rushes to the side of the king and assesses if Thraim’s body is still viable. Realizing the departed monarch, Talo hums a prayer to Clanggedin to accompany his soul to the courts of the soul-forger.

The war-priest then administers aid to the two remaining dwarves with instruction about rest. He works hard to stay out of the way of the medical golem.

83. If you’d just like to take your seat sir

The party head south, around the balcony and out of the smoke, searching the floor for any sign of a trail. They pass an open doorway on their left, the large room beyond filled with tables and chairs, some sort of feasting room it appears. The tables are covered with vases, glasses and cutlery and some have piles of what was presumably once food. There are only two occupants, the first is a skeleton sat at one of the tables and the other is a golem, its androgynous face an identical match for the medical golem, though this one is coloured black with a thick white stripe down its chest.
Gordon points to a smear of blood on the floor by the nearest table, it is heading south east. The golem takes a moment to notice the party, before stepping forward, bowing to them and then launching into a stream of friendly, though incomprehensible, gibberish.
It walks up to Kradorn and takes him firmly (very firmly) by the arm, talking all the time in its own cheerful tone. It takes two steps away from Kradorn before realising he isn’t coming with it and then pulls him along with its considerable (18/50) strength towards the table with the skeleton and its plates of moldy and rotten food.

81. Medbots, Displacer Beasts & Phase Spiders

Kalam stopped in his tracks and strained his senses to see if he could gain some more information about the possibility of a predators near them, crossbow at the ready.
Kalam tries but the dwarves around him are a bit noisy and he is in the middle of the party.

Gildor, hearing Kradorns signals, stops immediately and looks for movement or any sounds or signs of the beast and takes note of the smells as he makes sure he is positioned in the middle of the group.
Being in the middle of the group hampers Gildor’s senses somewhat but he’s sure he hears the padding of many feet off to the south, perhaps a group of vege-pygmies?
Gildor makes sure to look behind them also just to make sure nothing is sneaking up on them too.
He can’t see anything coming up behind them. The security golem is still at the far end of the eastern corridor watching impassively.
